Having an extension built on your house is a huge commitment and with some of the horror stories you hear of builders it’s worth being sure you pick the right firm. Peter Brooks of TMA was the only one of the people I asked for quotes who had a can-do attitude and was willing to discuss what was possible for the funds I had available. When we learnt that two ceilings in the house needed to be repaired and re-plastered we were horrified with visions of prolonged mess and muddle. A local plumber recommended TMA Building Services. When Peter Brooks came promptly to look at the work, we were confident that he would do a good job. We also asked him to knock an additional doorway through an internal wall into our utility room. We accepted his quote and agreed a provisional date when the work would start.
On the agreed day his small team of skilled and affable men arrived on time. They completed the work to the highest standard within three days with no mess or muddle. Great care was taken to protect vulnerable items from the inevitable dust produced by knocking a doorway through the wall.

When we asked TMA Building Services Ltd to gut our dated and very small en-suite, rebuild an internal wall and refit the en-suite with new fittings, we weren’t too sure what to expect.  Pete and his team arrived promptly each day, worked really well around the house, and even changed some plumbing valves that we hadn’t realised were corroded.  They finished on schedule and invoiced as per their estimate, and were a joy to have around.  My only grumble is that they drank all my tea, and ate all my chocolate biscuits!  A great job, and nice guys too.  I would happily recommend them – in fact I already have.
